A crystal goblet, a silver platter, a waste can or a trash bucket?

“In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets- some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing” 2 Tim. 2:20-21(MSG)

I love the way the Message bible explains this verse. My message to you today is that you can either be a crystal goblet or a silver platter; a trash can or a compost bucket. The choice is yours.

William George Jordan said, “It is what man makes of himself that counts” Everything you need to become all that God wants you to be has already been made available to you, it is now left for you to decide.

To become or not to become? To be valuable or to be valueless? To evolve or to degenerate? To advance or to retrogress? To become a Prima Donna or a trash bucket? The choice is yours.

Remember, our definition of a Prima Donna is a woman discovering and fulfilling her God-designed purpose, achieving great feats through the efficient and effective use of her God-given talents, and gaining worldwide acknowledgement through her strategic contributions to societal development. Sounds like a pretty big job to do, but hey, the Prov. 31 woman did it. You can choose to become this too or you can decide otherwise.

The world has enough compost buckets and more than enough trash cans. The silver platters are fair in number but the crystal goblets? Extremely rare!!!

It doesn’t matter what level you are right now, everything changes the moment you decide so. Don’t just live life passively and wait for miracles to happen. Decide, believe, work, and become!

My name is Onome Pearl Oraka and I have decided.
