Hulo Prima Donna!
How are you today? We couldn’t publish our posts on Saturday and Sunday because of some technical issues, but all is well now.
Let’s see what Michelle has to say today: So you want to win souls for the Kingdom? That is a wonderful desire which is pleasing to God….unless! Unless your missionary endeavors are solely focused on some unsaved man you are interested in (Busted!) I know all the rationalizations: Then why did God allow the person to come into my life if he didn’t want me to minister to him. Well, there aren’t any saved men around. The men in the world seem to be much more interesting and attractive than the men in the church.
So why did God say, “Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?( 2 Cor. 6:14) I know the answer to that: None at all. Don’t fool yourself. You will have a hard time living a godly life with an unsaved man. Because it is impossible for the weaker one to keep up, it’s a natural instinct for one who is stronger to step back in order to fall in step with the one who is weaker. You’ll be the only one making adjustments in your walk, which will be a bad witness, which will make you feel bad, which will affect the relationship, which will eventually unravel beyond repair…
Principles women should major in the beauty of holiness and keep an eye for a man who looks like Daddy!
Personal Note: Mission field dating? Been there, Done that. You’d think it’s harmless till you start making excuses, turning a blind eye, compromising your principles, lowering your standards…and before long you are trapped by the enemy. Now, my policy is simple- If you can’t pastor me, forregit! I mean, there is something incredibly attractive about a man whose heart is sold out to Jesus, who is an ardent disciple and practitioner of his principles. That’s the kind of man you want for a life partner dearest sister! Avoid the mission field!!!
